I have an API key. What are the next steps?

You can now use the RESTful APIs by providing your API key and search parameters. The developer portal and API documentation explain each web service and provide examples to help with integration.

How does the trial period work?

After creating an account, your API key will provide access to Enterprise features for 30 days. You can upgrade your API key to a paid plan at any time.

What payment methods are available?

Major credit cards and electronic bank transfers are accepted.

How do I update my payment method?

To update your subscription payment method, please visit our payment update page. You will need your API key. If you don't have your API key, please get in touch with us at contact@ofac-api.com. The updated payment method will become your subscription's default payment method.

How do I change my subscription level?

To make any changes to your account, including your subscription level, contact us at contact@ofac-api.com.

What is Overage Protection?

Overage Protection insures clients against excessive overage fees in the event of rapidly expanding business, unintentional usage, etc. In the event of excessive overage, Overage Protection grants a one-time cap on overage fees for a given month at $100.00, regardless of the overage.

How does OFAC-API.com determine a potential match?

The API compares your query with each sanction entry and assigns a similarity score. Sanctions with a high enough similarity are returned as potential matches for review.
